I love the story line but wish that the husband’s watching the scene would have been more obvious, perhaps an over the shoulder shot that better establishes he was there other than the balcony POV. Perhaps your goal was to shoot so as to allow we viewers to imagine being the husband? Still then I guess there would have been as many shots from that perspective as the same floor action.
