Penis orgasms everything you need to know about the male climax

This article is a follow on from my previous one, where I discuss penis pleasure. And what’s the end-goal of most masturbation? Orgasms. Penis orgasms aren’t quite as basic as you think – and the more you explore, the more to learn. So, let’s me talk you through a few steps I’ve learned over the years, from my own experiences and those of people I’ve worked with – and the hundreds of thousands of customers over-the-years.

Anyone that knows me, or knows of me, knows about my fascination with penis. And I have one. There are 4,000 nerve-endings in the penis head alone (the glans). This is why it’s sensitive, this is why pleasure is so fun (and most of the time – easy to reach), and this is why you can utilise them to make it feel great – and this is also why so many people LOVE masturbation and sex. The penis’ orgasm doesn’t have to come simply from thrusting up-and-down or in-and-out. There is NOTHING wrong with doing that, by the way, but let’s spice things up. Our bodies are there to be safely explored and enjoyed. I know mine is, anyway.

So, let’s talk about penis orgasms. the different types, how to enhance them – and the myths.

Myths of penis orgasms

We live in a society that loves to shame sexual desire and trivialise the idea men who enjoy masturbating or exploring their sexual limitations. As discussed in my previous article. It’s not a shock to anyone that I know, but this often leads to the spreading of silly rumours. For example, didn’t we all hear that too much penis masturbation makes you go blind? That you’ll start growing hair from the palm of your hand?

As we mature and the conversations transitions from childish playground scaremongering, to genuine adult concerns – we often hear of how too many penis orgasms can lead to erectile dysfunction and DE (delayed ejaculation). There is no scientific evidence to back up these claims. So, enjoy your willy.

The only thing you really need to keep an eye out for is pain and/or discomfort. If something stings, squeezes too tight, applies too much pressure or is uncomfortable – stop. Listen to your body. And a good lube is always your friend.

Different types of male orgasms

Urethral play

This is the stimulation and penetration of the urethra. The hole you urinate and ejaculate from. Also known, in some cases, as ‘sounding’ – this is where the sensitive nerve-endings within the penises hole are massaged, stroked or simply plugged. There are lots of different ways to orgasm with urethral play, in fact, many penis-owners claim that urethral play gives them a stronger erection than any other type of penis stimulation.

It’s incredibly important that you only use products designed for urethral play. There is simply no excuse to use anything other than an expertly crafted urethral toy – alongside a sterile lubrication. This makes it sound oh-so-complicated and expensive, but I assure you that it’s neither. The last thing you want to do is hurt or put bacteria into your urethra. I’m sure I don’t need to elaborate on that, as the horror stories can quite easily write themselves.

Don’t let me scare though, though. When it’s done properly (which is incredibly easy to do), it can be fabulous. Lots of users enjoy bringing themselves to orgasm simply by stroking the toys up-and-down inside of the urethra. This is also known as a ‘U-Gasm’. This step is not for beginners, however, and I’d only advise that experience urethral players dip their toes into this level of urethral stimulation.

You can also plug the urethra with a toy, you can get urethral toys with ‘through-holes’ which allow you to urinate and ejaculate through, you can get ribbed toys etc. Very experience players are known to use deep sounds that reach down the urethra to stimulate the body inside. There are also sperm stoppers, which sit as a wring around the penis head (or ‘bell end’ as I elegantly call it) and prevent urine, pre-cum, and sperm from coming out.

There are also spreaders and stretchers, alongside electro-erotic-stimulation (electro stimulation) toys – but these are for very experienced players.

Prostate massage and anal sex

They go hand-in-hand with explosive orgasms in my world. I would stand in speakers’ corner and talk passionately about prostate stimulation – as I absolutely adore it and it completely changed the way my penis orgasms feel.

The most powerful orgasms I have experienced in my life have come from masturbating at the same time as being penetrated – the thrusting being an incredibly important factor. I’ve found through personal experience, that the more I stimulate my prostate – the more intense my orgasms gets and also how much I ‘shoot’. Much like edging, prostate massage creates an explosive orgasm that fires sperm harder, further and faster when I do orgasm.

But you don’t necessarily have to massage your prostate for anal stimulation to boost how intense your penis orgasms feel, as a simple butt plug or basic anal sex can lead to intense pleasure. Lots of penis-owners can ejaculate from anal penetration alone, without the need to touch their penis. This is called a hands-free orgasm and is ‘goals’ for many people.

Frenulum stimulation

This is quite self-explanatory but feels absolutely amazing. Also known as the ‘banjo string’ area, the ‘sweet spot’ and the ‘male G-Spot’ (for those who haven’t tried or aren’t into prostate stimulation). The nerve-endings at the back of the penis head are deliciously sensitive – and whenever I give head – this is my starting point. Massaging, teasing, stroking, tickling, and rubbing this point often deliver intense pleasure to the receiver. Some people are very sensitive, so take it slow at first – and again with so many sexual practices: LUBE IS YOUR FRIEND.

You can stimulate your penis into orgasm with frenulum stimulation alone. There are lots of sex toys out there which were created with this in mind, from the iconic Hot Octopuss PULSE, through to the ECLIPSE from Nexus Range.

Water stimulation

I know this sounds silly but I know lots of penis-owners who absolutely love using the jet of their shower or hot tub to make themselves cum. Very much in the vein of frenulum stimulation, this act involves utilising the ‘jet’ of the water in place of a hand, tongue, lips, anus, or vulva etc.

Technically, the jets of water become stimulating fingers. There are a few sex toys out there which attach to your shower head to direct this pressure into rewarding patterns and/or shapes. When I used to work in sex shops back-in-the-day, I got gifted a very 90’s looking shower attachment that I ignored for years. When I eventually used it, I realised I’d been missing out.

Blended male orgasms

These are basically ‘multiple orgasms’ involving more than one body part at the same time. Particularly popular with those who have nipplegasms (nipple orgasms – yes, these are a thing), it’s the explosive climax of the stimulation of multiple body parts at the same time, and reaping the benefits. Often the genitals will follow suit as the other body parts reach the stage of heightened stimulation, resulting in… nut.

So, if you have a penis and want to explore this. Try getting into nipple stimulation, anal play, and prostate massage. I find (personally) the most explosive of all is the prostate plus the penis. This has literally left stars in my eyes before – and my boyfriend very tired and sweaty. As he should be *finger snaps*.

Wet dreams

Or known formally as ‘nocturnal emissions’ are often associated with horny teenagers and bed-humping adolescents. These aren’t just tongue-in-cheek orgasms that we discuss during awkward sex-ed at school, these have been discussed for thousands of years – even having been referenced in Lucretius in 1026 AD’s ‘De Rerum Natura). [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Rerum_Natura].

It’s basically an orgasm that happens as you sleep. Sometimes it wakes you up, sometimes it doesn’t – but you wake up to the results. Now, there’s not much that you can do to obtain this type of orgasm, as it happens most commonly to young folk and are often random (though some people have noted having 1-2 every 2 weeks), but they definitely are worth mentioning.

Dry penis orgasms

These are not to be confused with dry humping. This is when a penis orgasms but the white cum doesn’t come firing out. This can happen naturally, or can be manipulated with anal stimulation and/or edging.

It’s most commonly the result of medical procedures, but it can happen to those who haven’t had any work done on their knobs. It’s happened to me before with continuous edging – though I found with people I’ve done it to that clear seminal liquid has come out – just not the white creamy sperm that we are used to.

If you find that this is happening a lot, it’s worth informing your GP. No need to worry, just report any changes in your bodily functions as its always better to be safe than sorry.

Another great way to orgasm with a penis is to edge, which is the gradual teasing of the penis over time (sometimes hours) to eventual, explosive (and heavy spraying) orgasms. Which I discuss in my previous piece on penis pleasure for FrolicMe.

Better penis orgasms

I’m often asked by people (especially people with penises) How to have a better orgasm. And do you want my answer? The answer that hasn’t changed for over 13 years? EXPLORE. Get to know your body, push your boundaries gently and intelligently. Bring new product(s) into your bedroom, try new lubes, try toys that are different to the ones you’re used to – and try anal play if you’re open to it.

Our bodies are fascinating vehicles and SO much fun to drive. You don’t have to jump from a newbie to kinky play to some EXPERT sex toy player with a dungeon of pleasure devices – but I do recommend playing with your penis.

Try and resist the (very natural) urge to just wank your penis. Rub it, stroke it, add lube, heat, cooling products – play with it from tip to testicles and see where it leads you. A great time to start doing this is when you’re at the height of arousal – so if you’re watching a porn film that’s really got you going – or your partner is doing something JUUUUUST RIGHT – capitalise on the moment and do what you’re not used to doing. This is how I discovered prostate orgasm – and that changed my sex life completely.

Let me know how it goes. My DM’s and email inbox are always open if you want some more tips.
